Cherkam recently installed two new robotic cells in an electrical enclosure manufacturing facility. These cells utilize Allen Bradley PLC’s, and Yaskawa Motoman Robots and Servo Drives. Incorporated into an existing manufacturing line, these cells finish the product prior to painting. Using Servo’s the cells are able to process boxes from 6” square, up to 72” x 36” x 24” in size – all on the fly with no change over of tooling required.
Cherkam supplied the control system, as well as PLC and Robot programming.
